“All beings tremble before violence, all fear death, all love life. See yourself in others, then whom can you hurt? What harm can you do?” – Buddha
An exhibition put together by 16 local artists, which aims to challenge the viewers’ perception of animals and how our actions cause them harm.
While we like to find both beauty and enjoyment from animals we also need to think of how our actions affect their lives.
Some works look at how we see some animals as no more than commodities for our consumption while other works are designed to make the viewer aware of how activities such as farming and logging are destroying the habitats of animals leading to the endangerment and extinction of more and more species.
There are other works which are designed to make the viewer aware of illegal and cruel activities that we as humans are doing to animals.
