Up to 620,000,000 animals are violently slaughtered annually in Australia. Animals who are sentient with social structures, families, they experience consciousness and emotions just like the animals we share our homes with.
But their lives are brutally ended at a fraction of their natural lifespan for humans to unnecessarily consume their flesh and secretions without even batting an eye about the value or significance of their independence and desire to live.
The cognitive dissonance around the world relating to the treatment and use of animals is overwhelming. In this country you can be both arrested and paid for harming and killing animals.
To further explore the comparability that all animals and human’s lives are of equal value we will be demonstrating the perception of human’s being in the position of the animals that suffer needlessly for food and products, while challenging the public to relate to their plate and question their inner morality.
